Well, this is a nice little snag for Nebraska, one that they honestly need at Defensive Tackle.
Huge recruiting need pick-up for Nebraska by landing DT Maliek Collins today out of Kansas City. #Huskers

Collins, a kid who can come in and probably compete right away alongside Chase Rome and Vincent Valentine. Measuring up at 6'2". 285, he is a kid that the Huskers have been thinking about since early November.
Not only does Collins impress on his HS film against other Kansas City teams, he's the type of kid that Nebraska should be winning out of the 250 mile radius against schools like Iowa St, Missouri, both Kansas schools and etc.
With what DT recruiting has become at the end of this cycle, I would have imagined that Collins was at the top of Nebraska's board. So, good for the staff to get their current top target.
This makes 19 on the verbal list for Nebraska. There's room for 6-7 more. Can Nebraska fill it with solid players? We will soon find out.
