Preview:

Head Coach: Greg Gard (9th Season) Record: (174-96)

The Wisconsin Badgers come into Saturday’s contest with a 10-3 record, and 2-0 in B1G Conference play. The three loses this season come at the hands of Tennessee, Providence and Arizona, so they have lost to some darn tough teams. The Badgers average 74.8 points per game, while only allowing 65.5 points. Wisconsin shoot 46.3% from the floor, 32.4% from the three-point line, and 76.0% from the free-throw line. They outrebound their opponents by 5.8 per game, while averaging 34.8 rebounds per game. They don’t commit many turnovers, as they only make 10.1 per contest.

Wisconsin is led by Sophomore AJ Storr, who averages 15.1 points per game. Junior Steven Crowl and Grad Student Tyler Wahl both average double figures as well, scoring 12.8 and 11.5 points per game respectively. Crowl also leads the Badgers in rebounding, averaging 7.7 per game. Wahl is second on the team with 5.9 rebounds per game.

The Badgers will come at Nebraska with plenty of experience and height, which will be a good test for Nebraska in the next few contests. Steven Crowl is 7’0 and 247 lbs, which is a decent precursor to what Nebraska will incur when All-American Zach Edey comes to town in a few days. If the Huskers can solve Crowl a little, it will definitely help with game planning against Edey.
