First, I need to come up with a common name for this dadgummed article so you realize it’s a regular feature AND so it’s easier for me to search past results to show this to you.
This week I asked two questions of Nebraska fans, right after our beloved Huskers’ final loss of the 2023 football season.
Is Nebraska’s football program moving in the right direction under Matt Rhule?
Is the 2023 Nebraska football season, Matt Rhule’s first year, a success or failure?
Here are the results of those two questions:
That is pretty impressive. It’s dropped just slightly from the last time I asked this question. I did that because I wanted to find out where Husker fans stood. Sometimes it’s hard to get through the negativity on social media.
A pretty decent majority of Nebraska fans think the season is a success, even though our beloved Huskers didn’t make a bowl game.
OVER THE SEASON
I asked the question - “Is Nebraska’s football program moving in the right direction under Matt Rhule?” - a few times this season.
I asked during the week of September 15th, and I received the following result - note that this was when Nebraska was 0-2 against Minnesota and Colorado.
I asked again in mid-November, and this is the result I got.
Again, pretty surprising. When was the last time 91% of any group was all together on an issue? Note that it dropped only slightly after the loss to Iowa.
