For the most part, it was a miserable weekend for Husker sports. Volleyball rebounded from a loss to Wisconsin to sweep Minnesota. Nebrasketball improved their record to 7-0...yes you read that right! Otherwise, the losses piled up all around the athletic department.
The Husker football season came to an unceremonius end with a walk-off loss to Iowa. This season seems to be a failure. Or, it seems to be a success. I really can’t argue against (or for) either point of view.
I just hope things actually get better next season and that this isn’t just another mirage - as has been the case for the past decade or so.
What do you think? Will we see better days in 2024? Will Nebrasketball actually break throubgh this season? How far will the volleyball team advance in the NCAA tourney?
