Nebraska’s offensive coordinator Matt Lubick spent some time answering questions on Sports Nightly last night. He commented on Zavier Betts, Omar Manning, Alante Brown and Will Nixon.

He even mentioned that the new income true freshmen - Shawn Hardy, Kamonte Grimes and Latrell Neville have done a good job since they have arrived in Lincoln.

He also dropped the news that Levi Falck and Wyatt Liewer, both wide receiver walk-ons, are now on scholarship. Falck is a senior and Liewer is a fourth-year sophomore.

It was well earned as Nebraska made a few changes on offense about halfway through the 2020 season which resulted in more playing time for both Falck and Liewer.

This does beg the questions of whether Oliver Martin is on scholarship or has earned a scholarship. He was getting reps with the ones and started the spring game with Samori Toure and Omar Manning. Martin is currently a walk-on at Nebraska though he is a former four star athlete coming out of high school who has spent time at Michigan and Iowa.

It seems like he should be getting a scholarship soon as well.

Falck played in all eight games in 2020 and started four. He had 13 catches for 122 yards and a touchdown.

Liewer appeared in eight games. He had three catches for 22 yards and a touchdown.
