Nebraska will take on an old conference foe this upcoming season. The Huskers will play Colorado on Saturday, October 31st at Pinnacle Bank arena. Tipoff will be at noon. The exhibition will be the first time the two teams have played each other since March 11th, 2011 when they were both still members of the Big 12 Conference. Nebraska has since moved on to the Big Ten and Colorado to the Pac-12.
The three charities that that will benefit from this match are TeamMates, YWCA of Lincoln Employ402 Program, and Nebraska Greats Foundation. Tickets will be included in the season ticket packages and single tickets will go on sale at a later date.
Nebraska leads the series with a close 77-71 advantage over Colorado and goes all the way back tot he 1902-03 season. This should be a fun and entertaining game between the two former conference mates. While Nebraska is still building under Coach Hoiberg, Colorado has seen very nice success under Coach Tad Boyle. They most recently made it to the 2021 NCAA Tournament Second Round.
