Great news from the land of *audible vomit sounds*!!!!
The Nebraska Cornhuskers landed the commitment of Colorado pass catcher Grant Page Sunday afternoon. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound Page hails from Boulder and plays his prep ball for Fairview High, the same school that produced Husker legend Kenny Bell.
The first thing I notice when watching his film is that Grant is a SMOOTH route runner. He gets in and out of his breaks effortlessly. He has a complete mastery of the route tree. He also has good speed and can get very physical after the catch whichcaught my eye as well. This might sound crazy, but his film is almost a perfect mix of Latrell Neville and Shawn Hardy's film. He possesses the same great attributes as those two. I can see him making great plays for Heinrich Haarberg/Richard Torres.
Grant visited Nebraska and Kansas State, but also held Power Five offers from the hometown Buffs, Iowa State, Michigan State, Georgia Tech, Washington State, Utah, and Wake Forest. He is clearly a talented prospect, if not off the film, just based off of his offer list alone. Credit to Coach Lubick for getting Mr. Page in the boat.
After Grant's commitment, Nebraska's 2022 recruiting class currently sits at 41st best in the country according to Rivals, while 247Sports has the class ranked as the 45th best in the country and 11th best in the Big Ten Conference. These numbers will certainly go up as the recruiting cycle continues.
Welcome to Nebraska, Grant! GBR!!!!!
