In one sign the world is slowly returning to normal, the Big Ten announced that the annual football media days event will return to an in-person format. Normally, it would be held at McCormick Place or a major hotel conference center in Chicago, Illinois. However, it has been moved to Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana this year because of continued coronavirus restrictions in the Windy City.
The part of the event usually open to fans, the luncheon, will remain virtual for 2021.
Scott Frost and the Nebraska Cornhuskers will be up on Day 1 (July 22) along with Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Penn State, Northwestern, and Minnesota. Day 2 (July 23) will include Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State, Ohio State, Purdue, Rutgers, and Wisconsin.
This means we are just a little over 50 days away from the unofficial start of football! We will be sure to update when the players attending with Coach Frost are announced.
