The Husker softball team visits Northwestern and the Jackrabbits play for the FCS title

Syndication: Argus Leader Matt Zimmer via Imagn Content Services, LLC

Well, we may not have a baseball game today (thanks COVID) but there are things worth watching in the sports world.

The Husker women’s softball team is in Evanston trying to even up the series with the Wildcats.

AND - you knew I was going to invite you all to the bandwagon...

The South Dakota State Jackrabbits play for the FCS national title today. It is the first time ever in the championship game for the Jacks. In a weird year where the FCS delayed their season until the spring, it has been a crazy ride for SDSU. It has been fun watching my alma mater take the season one game at a time, never knowing if they would get to play any given week.

You know you want to cheer for our neighbors up north.

Besides, Sam Houston State is in Texas and we’re supposed to dislike them on principle. Go Jacks!

What: SDSU vs Sam Houston State

When: 1 pm central

TV: ABC
