National Voting Results

The NFL Draft has come and gone. No Huskers were in the national voting results for this one, but SB Nation fans still were asked to weigh in on who the biggest steals and reaches were.

One of the names will be familiar to Nebraska fans, however. Purdue’s Rondale Moore was one of the most electric offensive players in the Big Ten during his time in West Lafayette. While he was hampered by injuries at times in his final seasons, he was an exciting player to watch. However he stayed on the board until the second round when he went to the Arizona Cardinals and won SB Nation’s pick for the best steal of the 2021 NFL Draft.

The full breakdown is:

  1. Rondale Moore 25%
  2. Asante Samuel Jr. 21%
  3. Trey Sermon 13%
  4. Christian Barmore 11%
  5. Kellen Mond 10%
  6. Kwity Paye 10%
  7. Amon-Ra St. Brown 9%

What about the biggest draft reach? The top vote getter for this one was Alabama offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood who was picked No. 17 overall by the Las Vegas Raiders.

The full breakdown is:

  1. Alex Leatherwood 46%
  2. Kadarius Toney 25%
  3. Jaycee Horn 18%
  4. Jamin Davis 11%

Finally, the last question asked by Fan Pulse focused on who college fans root for in the NFL. Probably not a surprise to most people, but the players they root for in college don’t usually end up being a catalyst for who that fan roots for in the NFL.
