According to the tweet above, Mr. Kojenets is 7’3”. Or he might be 6’10”, according to his player card at 247Sports. Either way, his commitment means Nebraska will have a few big men at their disposal next season.
Derrick Walker, 6’8”, started most of the season and showed he was a definite upgrade. Eduardo Andre, 6’10”, played extensively, showing raw talent that could develop into something special. Whatever his true height and weight, Kojenets adds another presence down low where rebounding skills will be needed.
Kojenets joins the team after playing at Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio.
Travis Branham at 247 talked to Kojenets about why he chose Nebraska over other schools. Seriously, take a look.
LOOK AT THIS LINE SPECIFICALLY:
I like shooting free throws a lot. I like to get the opponent in foul trouble, that’s what I enjoy the most.
We welcome Mr. Kojenets to Nebrasketball !!!!!!
