Nebraska volleyball was selected as the #5 seed for the 2021 NCAA volleyball tournament. The NCAA Women’s volleyball tournament will feature 48 teams (less than the regular 64) and will be held from April 14-24th at the CHI Health Center in Omaha.
Nebraska has been to four NCAA semifinals in the last five years. Our beloved Huskers won national titles in 2015 and 2017.
This year our beloved Huskers finished 14-2 and third place in the Big Ten conference.
Nebraska will open the tournament Thursday, April 15th against the Texas State/Utah Valley winner.
Wisconsin is the #1 seed in the nation, Kentucky #2, Minnesota #3, and Texas #4. Nebraska’s side of the bracket includes those stinky bastards from Texas, Baylor, and Big Ten hated volleyball rival Penn State.
The Big Ten Conference led all conferences with six teams selected for the tournament. Our beloved Huskers are joined by Wisconsin, Minnesota, Ohio State, Penn State, and Purdue.
Corn Nation will have a more detailed look at the bracket later.
