The University of Nebraska Athletic Department will have a giant, enormous groundbreaking ceremony as they break ground on building a really huge project that promises to rival that expensive, beautiful, new facility that was built at Northwestern.

The Go B1G Project will ultimately provide a new football practice facility. The first phase of the project includes a new academic center and training table. Completion of the project is expected in 2023.

Speakers as part of the Groundbreaking ceremony will include University of Nebraska President Ted Carter, University of Nebraska-Lincoln Chancellor Ronnie Green, Nebraska Athletic Director Bill Moos, Head Football Coach Scott Frost and Women’s Basketball Head Coach Amy Williams.

The event will be streamed live at 3:30 pm.
