National Voting Results

‘Tis the time of year attention of football fans turn to the spring game. But before we get to national excitement around a glorified intra-squad scrimmage, what do SB Nation world think of the transfer portal and immediate eligibility? Well, overwhelmingly fans approve of the immediate eligibility rule.

What about making the change in eligibility permanent for a one-time transfer? Well, fans support that, too, but by a far smaller margin.

How about impact to their own individual team? No specific breakdown of how Husker fans feel like on this one, but nationally fans seem to be mostly neutral or very-so-slightly positive on the effect it will have on their team.

The full breakdown is:

  1. No net change 42%
  2. Add more players 30%
  3. Lose more players 27%

Now we finally get to coverage of the spring game. How many plan to watch their team’s spring game? Not quite a super majority.

For those who are watching, what do they plan to watch for? Player development, a football fix before the long summer ahead, or something else?

Here’s the full breakdown:

  1. Player development 51%
  2. I just miss football 36%
  3. Starting lineups 8%
  4. Coaching schemes 6%

Husker Results

Basketball season has ended, but we didn’t get results during the tournament of fan confidence. Now that the latter signing day has come and gone and some of the roster attrition has been figured out, what does fan confidence look like in the program?

Not too damn bad actually. That’s a wrap on this week’s results.
