Nebraska Baseball Gamethread: Penn State Game Two

Huskers look to clinch fourth straight series

Baseball Background

A day after the Huskers opened the series with a 8-2 win last night, Nebraska goes for their fourth consecutive series victory this afternoon. Chance Hroch will get the ball for the Huskers while Conor Larkin takes the mound for Penn State.

Nebraska will look for a fast start against Larkin. Larkin has won his past two starts against Michigan State and Rutgers. Larkin might be the Lions best starting pitcher, as he his given his team a chance to win every game he has pitched in. His worst outing came against the potent Michigan Wolverines offense, and even then he only gave up six runs.

Hroch meanwhile needs to get back on track for the Huskers. He was hit hard last weekend against Maryland and gave up a 5-1 lead.

Saturday, April 17 (12 PM)
