Nicklin Hames had 33 assists and eight digs last night, and she became the 10th Husker in school history to reach 3,000 career assists and the fourth to do so in the rally scoring era (2001-present).

Illinois changed offensive system for the first time this season. They ran a 5-1 (5 hitters-1 setter). They were better in this system than the 6-2 offense they were running.
