What is something you did or didn’t do pre-Covid that now you are kind of grossed out by or can’t believe you ever did it?
For me, it’s hand washing. I washed my hands before, but not nearly as thoroughly or as often as I should have. I always washed my hands after going to the bathroom and before cooking, but was inconsistent about washing them before I ate.
I am pretty grossed out thinking about that. I work with children. Children are awesome, but they are also walking piles of germs. They sneeze and cough and pick their noses and put their hands in their mouths and TOUCH EVERYTHING. I can’t believe I was not more concerned with making sure I was washing my hands well after spending all morning with them. I will say that I do have a pretty good immune system though, so maybe there was something to that.
Another thing that I hope stays around is the 6 feet distance thing. I know not everyone is staying 6 feet apart, but I don’t think it’s a bad idea for people to space out a little more in public. I’d be good with 2 or 3 feet honestly. I don’t need some stranger in line right up behind me, breathing down my neck. No thank you.
I’m sure there are others, but these two stick out to me right now. What about you?
