The Nebraska Cornhuskers play in game two tonight of the opening action for the 2021 Big Ten Tournament against the Penn State Nittany Lions.
The Nittany Lions lead the all-time series, 12-10 all-time. The Huskers are 9-10 against Penn State since joining the Big Ten. Across the entire series, however, Penn State’s win in Lincoln this season was the Nittany Lion’s first since a 1995 NIT matchup against the Huskers. The teams have never squared off against each other in Indianapolis. The teams met twice during the regular season with the road team winning each time. The Huskers tonight are the designated visiting team with the lower seed.
