Wake up Husker fans! Nebraska opens play on Day Two of the BTT

Scott Bruhn

In a previous article I mentioned my uncertainty about Nebraska’s postseason chances (usually a team needs a .500 record to get into the WNIT). Last night on Sports Nightly, Matt Coatney was adamant that the Huskers were safely in the WNIT, win or lose today.

I hope they win, but an early morning game against a team that has beaten them twice already? And the reward for a win being a Day Three beatdown by Maryland? Who knows what we’ll see today?

I think the motivation to erase the losing streak against the Gophers will be enough. Go Big Red!
