The Nebraska Cornhuskers men’s basketball team has already had a number of changes occur this season to the schedule, and that trend continued late this afternoon. With six games needing new dates after extended postponements following COVID-19 outbreaks among the roster and program personnel, there is a lot of ground to make up over the final month of the regular season.

With that in mind, the athletic department announced changes to upcoming games over the next week. Over the next seven days, the men’s team will play four games in total. The new game dates, start times, and tv coverage are as follows:

  • Mon. (Feb. 8): at Minnesota, 7 p.m. (BTN)
  • Wed. (Feb. 10): vs. Wisconsin, 8:30 p.m. (BTN)
  • Fri. (Feb. 12): vs. Illinois, 8 p.m. (BTN)
  • Sun. (Feb. 14): at Penn State, 2 p.m. CT (BTN)
  • Wed. (Feb. 24): at Illinois POSTPONED will be made up between 2/28-3/7

The game against the No. 21 Wisconsin Badgers was moved up one day from Feb. 11. The game against the No. 6 Illinois Fighting Illini was originally scheduled for Jan. 13 and will be the first of six games to be made up following extended postponements. The return game at Illinois originally schedule for Feb. 24 will now be postponed to the final week of the season with the exact date to be determined at a later time.

The Cornhuskers will tip-off the week of games tonight at 8 pm/7 central tonight at Minnesota.
