In this episode, Jon talks about Nebraska baseball and how the Big Ten doesn’t give a damn about baseball.
We start with Nebraska fans’ attitude when we first joined the Big Ten. Remember that? We thought we’d take over the conference. Hasn’t quite happened. Is that Darin Erstad’s fault? What about recruiting?
A schedule is yet to be released, but right now it looks like the 2021 Big Ten baseball season will be conference only, four games per weekend and no mid-week games. This will destroy the Big Ten’s RPI, meaning they’ll find it difficult to get more than one team into the NCAA Tournament.
Does the Big Ten actually care about the sport of baseball? It doesn’t look like it.
