The Huskers will be coming off a primetime matchup in Lincoln against the No. 8/9 Michigan Wolverines, while the Gophers will be coming off a bye week following a rain soaked 20-13 win at Purdue this past weekend. The Gophers are 3-2, including a 30-0 shutout win on the road at Colorado.
Nebraska will be returning to TCF Bank Stadium for the first time since 2019, a 34-7 Gophers win that saw a bizarre rant by Husker head coach Scott Frost about the lack of toughness exhibited during warm-ups by some players who chose to wear hoodies all while he himself was wearing a hoodie. Frost is 1-2 against Minnesota since becoming the head coach at Nebraska.
Since joining the Big Ten, Nebraska is 5-5 against Minnesota and is 2-3 in Minneapolis. The series against Minnesota is the oldest of any Big Ten foe for the Huskers. Minnesota leads the all-time series 34-25-2. The full slate of Big Ten games for Saturday, Sept. 25 is below.
