SURFING-US-WSL-PRACTICE

Great news from the home state of former president Barack Obama!!!!!

Nebraska has landed the commitment of Hawaii linebacker Wynden Ho'ohuli. Wynden plays his prep ball for Mililani High School in Mililani, a town on the island of Oahu. The 6'3 220 lb Ho'ohuli lines up at outside linebacker, inside linebacker and at defensive end when he steps on the field for the Trojans. His father Watson Ho'ohuli played linebacker for Hawaii from 2001-2004.

On film, Wynden is an EXPLOSIVE player. He looks like he is shot out of a cannon when chasing QBs and RBs. He can effortlessly flip his hips & run with tight ends and slot receivers. When playing on the LOS, he attacks from a low, tightly coiled position & pounces on offensive tackles. I am in love with his film. He reminds me of Henry To'oto'o, the Tennessee LB that can do it all.

Wynden's other finalists were Washington, Kansas State, Utah & Virginia. Tony Tuioti, in conjunction with Erik Chinander had been recruiting Mr. Ho'ohuli for over a year now and he felt the most comfortable with coming to Lincoln. He was the #1 player in Hawaii according to both 247 & Rivals and a consensus top 10 linebacker in the country.

Wynden's commitment now places Nebraska's 2021 recruiting class firmly in the top 20 in the country and top 3 in the Big Ten.

Welcome to Nebraska, Wynden! GBR!
