2020 Year End “State of the Site” Address

We made it. Now it’s time to get better. Or just move ahead. Whichever.

This is my attempt at doing a year end look back, a “state of the site” address.

I haven’t been doing much writing this year, overall, but have been doing a lot more podcasting and now, more video. It’s a new challenge. I rather enjoy it, and I’ve even gotten used to seeing my face and not being terrified.

2020 is over. 2021 is here. I certainly hope it’s going to be a better year for everyone, but if we’re honest, it’s going to be more of the same crap for a while before it gets better.

Maybe with the year turning over, the best thing we can do is have a better attitude about our lives and the world around us. Maybe make some positive goals.

I had one big goal for 2020. It wasn’t altered by a pandemic. It was to publish a book about what happened to me. I accomplished that goal. It took a lot longer than I thought it would, but “Been Dead, Never Been To Europe” is out on Amazon.

I said this a couple of times in the video, but I will say it again. I am very proud of my staff for what we’ve done this year. It’s been tough coming up with content at times, especially during the months when there wasn’t a whole lot of anything real sporty going on. They are like a family to me and I am very thankful they’re in my life.

I’m thankful to y’all, too. Thanks for being a part of this community. Here’s to hoping 2021 is a better year!
