It was somewhat expected but the Kansas City Royals and Alex Gordon announced that Gordon would be retiring from baseball at the end of this season.
Congrats on Alex Gordon on a great major league baseball career. As you can tell by the tweets below he definitely represented well for himself, his family, the city of Lincoln and the state of Nebraska.
