We are still trying to find players for these teams. There is a good chance they will be adding Fortnite. Note the information below:
Xbox One
Madden 21 Single Elimination Tournament
NBA 2K21 Single Elimination Tournament
Playstation 4
Madden 21 Single Elimination Tournament
NBA 2K21 Single Elimination Tournament
MLB The Show 20 Single Elimination Tournament
Cross-Play
Call of Duty: Warzone 2v2 Tournament
Rocket League 3v3 Tournament
PC
Civilization 6 Game
Competitions are expected to start September 6th, and will take place each week thereafter. Like games on different systems will be played at the same time. So, for instance, the Madden 21 Tournaments on Xbox One and PS4 will be played in the same week.
The Format
Our tournaments will feature a variety of different formats, and maybe even some ongoing leagues like Madden Franchise or NBA2K MyLeague. However, in regards to season scoring, the events will follow this basic structure: the last place team will receive one team point, second-last will receive two, and so on and so forth until we get to the winner, who will receive their bonus points on top of their standard score.
So, for a 10-team tournament in which each team gets two player entries (so 20 total players), the last place player would earn one point, and the winner would earn 20 points, plus a five point bonus for winning the tournament, earning at total of 25 points for their team. If a team’s two entrants were to finish 4th and 11th, the team would earn 17+10 = 27 total points for their team.
Teams will can feature anyone at all, from blog staff, all the way down to you, the readers. What does that mean? Keep your eye out, because we are looking for people to represent CornNation in a few events!

We would like to do some exhibition games, events, before we get into the actual competition. I have never done streaming, although I am rapidly figuring it out. Come to twitch.tv and watch me die for the fun of it, then stay for the constant profanity.
I would like us - the CN community that is interested - to get together for some COD Warzone or other eSports fun of our own. What I’d like is for you to post a comment regarding what game you’d like to participate in, and on what gaming platform/console you’ll be using. It’d be good if you also sent an email to cornnation@gmail.com with the same information so that I can get a list together.
I am not very organized, and we need to get going. The goal is to provide a sense of community and fun because God knows, we might not have Nebraska football for another year.
Today is the fifth anniversary of my re-birthday. I have noted others around me call it that, which is a lot more positive than “Day of Death”.
I have written a book called “Been Dead Never Been To Europe” that I hope to self-publish in September, October. Hope you’re interested. It’s currently in the editing phase. I hope to have cover samples in about 2-3 weeks. You can help me chose when they get here.
I’m trying to raise money for, the American Heart Association.
We’re at $310 of $1,000. Please donate some more so I can actually say I’ve conducted a successful fund raiser.
