Big Red Cobcast Ep. 324: Dirk Chatelain

In the realm of Husker media, there aren’t many current figures more well-known or more likely to elicit a response, for better or worse, than Dirk Chatelain. And we here at the Big Red Cobcast love eliciting responses, for better or worse.

So naturally we had to bring Dirk onto the Cobcast this week to talk about Twitter, angering people, objectivity, getting yelled at by Bo Pelini, and the national response to Nebraska in the wake of the Big Ten calling off the fall sports season.

It was honest, in-depth and a hell of a lot more heartfelt that I would have ever expected. Plus, after the firefight between Nebraska fans and Desmond Howard over the past week, the once contentious relationship between Husker fans and Dirk now seems quite quaint.
