Frosted Flakes: What is going on?!

School-Football, 2020 makes everything difficult.

My brain is fried.

It is back to school time and this year everything that comes with back to school is as unfamiliar and uncertain as the football world is right now.

Tonight I held a virtual open house to meet my new students and their families via Zoom. It felt so awkward and unnatural. I usually look forward to showing off my classroom to my students and getting to know their families a little bit. While I did get to show a really awesome video tour of our room and I had some good conversations, it just wasn’t the same.

It’s hard to really understand what the school year will look like and how smoothly it will run and that is taxing on the brain.

You know what else is taxing on the brain? Checking over 200 messages when I finished in my classroom today and seeing that no one knows anything about the future of college football. The only thing we know for sure is that Nebraska wants to play. Wherever they can.
