BOOM! Texas WR Latrell Neville is N!

Nebraska picks up a very tall receiver.

Great news from the land that Sam Houston won!

The Big Red landed the commitment of Texas WR Latrell Neville Saturday. Neville, who plays for Hightower High in Missouri City, Texas, stands at 6'4 and weighs in at 195 pounds. He had been trending N since he decomitted from Virginia Tech in early June. Today he made it official.

I am extremely intrigued by Neville's film. Jet sweeps, deep balls, post routes, he does it all! He doesn't appear quite as fast as fellow Husker commit Shawn Hardy II, but has an official 23.9 200 meter time, which is fast enough for a big body receiver.

On Rivals, Latrell is a 5.8 4*, the 55th best receiver in the country & the 42nd best player in the Lone Star State. His 247 ranking is a bit peculiar though. He was ranked as high as a 94 overall in August 2019, but has slipped since and is now a .8791. His commitment moves Nebraska to the 46th best class in the nation for 2021 and the 10th best class in the Big Ten.

Welcome to Nebraska, Latrell! GBR!
