BOOM! Georgia DB Malik Williams is N!

Huskers reel in ANOTHER big time baller from the Peach State.

Great news from the land of half our recruiting class!

The Huskers landed the commitment of Georgia DB Malik Williams Tuesday afternoon. The 6'0 187 pound Williams plays with Husker RB commit Gabe Ervin at Buford High in Buford, GA, a northwest suburb of Atlanta.

Credit this commitment to tight ends coach Sean Beckton. He does heavy lifting in the state of Georgia & Malik is a fruit of his labor. I'm sure his teammate Ervin also played a huge part in his procurement. Malik had been trending N for a while now & he finally made it official.

I really like Malik's film. He delivers a tough blow on ballcarriers & he's sticky in coverage. He should be great for us once he gets the correct training from Coaches Fisher & Chinander.

According to Rivals, Malik is a 5.6 3 star & the 80th best player in Georgia, while according to 247 Composite he is a .8326 3 syar and the 122nd best player in Georgia. He chose Nebraska amidst claimed offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Florida, Florida International, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, Syracuse & UCF.

Malik's commitment now has Nebraska's recruiting class ranked 33rd in the nation and 9th in the Big Ten according to 247, and 25th in the country according to Rivals.

Welcome to Nebraska, Malik! GBR!!!!
