I couldn’t even say “I apologize in advance” before Jon started dropping f-bombs like the kids drop Bang-Snaps on the Fourth of July.

Kristi McHugh is a special guest on the first half of the show. Wife of our very own Nate and a someone who admittedly “doesn’t really follow sports,” it’s an opportunity to get some insight into the life of someone who loses their husband for at least three hours every weekend during football season, but also plays the role of single mom while Nate coaches basketball in the winter. We hear about the “State of the Program” from someone who may not even qualify for “casual fan” status.

In the second half of the show, we discuss the acquisition of Ezra Miller from Iowa, as well as some other scholarship transfers who chose to be walk-ons in Lincoln. Plus, the economic impact of no football will reverberate across Lincoln and the state.
