Unfortunate news from the land of streets named Peachtree.

3* Georgia linebacker Christopher Paul Jr. decommitted from the Huskers Thursday afternoon. The 6'1 235 lb. Georgia native committed to Nebraska back in March.
Paul's decision raises some eyebrows. Yesterday he tweeted he was "all N" but today he backs from his pledge. C'est la vie. These things happen in the world of college football recruiting. It is a cutthroat game where players use schools and schools use players and both drop each other at a moment's notice.
In 2019, Chris recorded 157 tackles, 4.5 sacks and 10 TFLs playing for Crisp County High. According to 247, he is currently "warm" towards Cincinnati, Louisville and Tennessee, who offered him this week. Paul's decommitment now has Dear Old Nebraska U's recruiting class ranked 44th in the country and 10th in the B1G, with an average player rating of .8751.
We wish Mr. Paul nothing but the best in the future. GBR!
