First round voting is over and some of the futzed seedings (sorry Brew) did result in upsets. Again, a big thank you to BrewCityHSKR for setting this up!
There were two upsets - one of them big as #13 Zac Tayor took 53% of the vote compared to 47% for #4 Jerry Tagge. The other upset was #10 Tommy Armstrong defeating #7 Vince Ferragamo 55%-45%. Some recency bias may have been at work here, but it is also safe to say that both Taylor and Armstrong had weaker supporting casts and had to shoulder more of the load.
