Nebraska Football Ultimate Offensive Lineman Bracket: Round One Voting Is Open

What names do you think of when someone says “Pipeline”?

This is a bracket where 16 names doesn’t seem like enough (I’m guessing Brew’s running back bracket will feel the same way as well).

Cornhusker football has a proud, proud tradition of churning out guys who excel in the trenches. There is something very Midwestern about doing the hard work and not getting much credit like those pretty boy quarterbacks and wide receivers. s

As always, credit for this goes to BrewCityHSKR for setting up the bracket. Thank you!

Here is Brew’s formula for seedings:

These seedings are formulaic. I granted one point for each 1st-team All-Conference, 2 points for each 1st-team All-American with an addition point for being consensus, and another additional point for being consensus and unanimous (AA only). Tie breaks were settled by draft position.

Before I turn you loose on the polls, I have one bit o’ trivia. Getty (one of the sources SB Nation is licensed to use photos from) is the best source of historical sports photos I’ve found. But even they didn’t have a picture of one of our top four seeds. Can you guess which one? Bonus if you can also identify which player I used in his place.

1) Dave Rimington (11 points) – Elite talent, Elite ’fro. Not just anyone gets a trophy named after them. (Huskers.com bio)
