When you have a converted safety kick a game-winning field goal for you then it’s time to make some changes.
Nebraska is receiving a graduate transfer by the name of Connor Culp. He is immediately eligible.
From the LSU Tigers website:
Enters third season with the Tigers in 2019 as the most experienced placekicker on the team … Handled LSU’s placekicking duties as a redshirt freshman in 2017, connecting on 11-of-16 attempts … Did not attempt any field goals last year playing behind second team All-America Cole Tracy … Has a strong leg … Can also handle kickoffs for the Tigers.
Nebraska recently added Chase Contreraz to the roster. Contreraz was the presumed starter but with the addition of Connor Culp the competition at that position should be much improved upon the 2019 season.
At this point we can be happy about improvement.
