Which side was he really on?

After a few weeks of going in another direction, I am ready to go back to some Harry Potter talk.

SPOILER ALERT: If for some reason you don’t know what happens in this series skip this part and just go down to the links.

One thing that bothers me about the Harry Potter Series is that I don’t know what to think about Severus Snape.

I spent most of my time throughout reading the first few books disliking him. Then as he shows more loyalty to Harry and the others I start to think that he is not that bad, but I can never really trust him.

He is nasty to Harry all the time, and you’d think that if he loved Lily Potter he’d treat her son a little better, even if he hated his father.

Also, whose side is he really on? Is he helping with the fight against Voldemort, or is he just pretending and helping the Death Eaters out? I know Dumbledore has him pose as a Death Eater to get information, but is he really doing that or is he just pretending?

I realize that in the end of the series, the intent is you are supposed to believe he was good. Harry names his child after him. He must be good. But, how can the man that kills Dumbledore supposed to be considered good? I’ve decided that I still think he’s bad even if that isn’t what is intended.

Anyway, on to the sports... well what little sports news there is.
