Nebraska will face one of it’s old conference foes from the Big 12 in basketball starting next season. It was first announced Tuesday morning by Jon Rothstein

The Huskers will take on the Wildcats first in Kansas City at the Sprint Center for the 2020-21 season. They will then host KSU in Lincoln for the 2021-2022 season head down to Manhattan, KS in 2022-23.

They Huskers have not seen the Wildcats since the 2010-11 season which was the last year Nebraska was in the Big 12 Conference. They thus left for the Big 10 which they are playing in now.

Nebraska last played a Big 12 opponent in a home and home series back in 2015 and 2016 . That last game in that series resulted in a 73-72 heart breaker against the Kansas Jayhawks at home in Lincoln. Most recently they faced off against Oklahoma State in Sioux falls at the Sanford Pentagon. That resulted in a very nice 79-56 win for the Big Red.
