Great news from the land rivers, furniture, and beer!
DE Ru'Quan Buckley announces for Nebraska. Family vibe, relationship with the staff, particularly Tony Tuioti, and more led him to Lincoln.

Shortly after today's victory in West Lafayette, the Nebraska Cornhuskers added the commitment of 3* Michigan defensive end Ru'Quan Buckley. The 6'6 280 lb. Buckley plays his prep ball at Godwin Heights High School in Wyoming, a suburb of Grand Rapids. He plays both offensive tackle and defensive end for the Wolverines.
The first thing I notice when watching Buckley is his BRUTE STRENGTH. On offense he crushes anyone in front of him. On defense he pushes around offensive linemen & delivers a devastating blow to the ball carrier. Under the tutelage of Coach Tuioti & 私服 Duval, he will be a great Blackshirt in the future.
The coaching staff had been recruiting Ru'Quan for a while now. He received his offer from the Huskers in May 2019 and they had been recruiting him ever since. He visited Lincoln for Junior Day in January and named us his leader at the time. However, he never got to visit again due to the pandemic & other schools got involved in his recruitment
Michigan State, Cincinnati, Florida State, and Minnesota were Ru'Quan's other finalists. He was being courted pretty heavily by nearby Michigan State, who told him he could play either offense or defense, and by Florida State, who wanted him at offensive tackle. However, Coach Tuioti's relationship with him won out in the end, and Ru'Quan committed to the Good Guys.
According to 247Sports Composite, Ru'Quan is the 15th best player in the state of Michigan and the 36th best strongside defensive end in the country. They assigned him a rating of .8709, making him a high 3 star.
After his commitment, the Nebraska recruiting class now sits at 20th best in America and the 4th best in the conference that Kevin Warren ruined.
Welcome to Nebraska, Ru'Quan! GBR!!!
Boooooooom!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a great day for the Huskers!!!!! Big DL that believes in the ‘N’!!!!! pic.twitter.com/pu21f59aL5
