Nebraska’s game against Florida A&M will be canceled Sunday due to a positive test in the Florida A&M men’s basketball program. The Huskers were slated to take the the Rattlers in Lincoln at 1:00 pm CST.
Florida A&M announced their game on Friday, December 4th against the University of South Florida was the first game of theirs that they canceled. The game was canceled due to Big Ten Conference policy on COVID and out of an abundance of caution.
This is the first cancellation due to COVID that the Huskers have had this season. Though, I doubt it will be their last. Again, this is a cancellation and not a postponement so there is no rescheduling of this matchup for Nebraska.
So, if you were planning on tuning in Sunday, maybe instead put up some more Christmas decorations. I mean, you can’t have too many up, right?
The Huskers next home game will be against Creighton in Omaha next Friday, December 11th at 6:00pm CST.
Update: Sunday's game against Florida A&M has been canceled due to COVID-19 related issues within Florida A&M's program. https://t.co/JWnE1FHbs1
