NCAA Football: Nebraska at Rutgers Vincent Carchietta-USA TODAY Sports

Dedrick Mills had a hell of a game as Nebraska defeated Rutgers 28-21 last week to wrap up the 2020 Nebraska football season.

But could Mills have done more? Well, yes, but that’s not his fault. You can carry your team inside the 5, but you can’t get the call for a handoff, apparently.

Lovie Smith is out at Illinois and the most unthinkable coach is hired as his replacement.

And Nebraska players vote to not play in a bowl game. That’s unexpected until you realize that 2020 has been a long year for them.
