Nebraska TE James Carnie is Officially A Husker!

The Norris High pass catcher makes things official as he is going to stay in his home state

Firth product James Carnie made things official this morning by signing with Nebraska! The 6'5 222 lb. tight end plays his prep ball for Norris High

James was lightly recruited at the beginning of the year, originally committing to Miami of Ohio. However he made big strides training & on the field, and ran a 4.6 40 yard dash at 6'5 222 in the summer. He received his first Power 5 offer from Iowa & decommitted from Miami of Ohio. It seemed like relations between Carnie and the Hawkeyes were heating up. However, Nebraska slid in with a scholarship offer at the right time. James grew up a diehard Husker fan & his family has had season tickets for decades, so he couldn't say no.

Akelo's Analysis: James is eerily identical to fellow TE commit Thomas Fidone athletically & film wise. He is a little light for a tight end right now, but once he spends a little time in the weight room he will do damage for us.

Welcome to Nebraska, James! GBR!
