Mikai Gnayor signed his LOI this morning, officially making him a member of the Husker family. The 6'2 220 lb. linebacker plays his prep ball at Irvington High in Irvington, a town in northern New Jersey.
Mikai is in the same vein as Randolph Kpai. He literally does everything well. He is getting sacks, tackling running backs for losses, running with tight ends and receivers & delivering hits on special teams.
Besides Nebraska, Mikai was heavily courted by Kentucky, Michigan State, West Virginia & Ole Miss. He was previously considered a Michigan State lean, but he visited Lincoln in August and fell in love with us.
Akelo's Analysis:
Mikai can be very good for us. He already has the physique to play next year, most likely on special teams. He does everything well as a linebacker & will undoubtedly be an impressive Blackshirt one day.
Welcome to Nebraska, Mikai! GBR!
