South Dakota linebacker Randolph Kpai has officially signed his LOI, making him a part of the Husker family! He plays at Washington High in Sioux Falls, the same school that produced Nathan Gerry & the Farniok brothers. In Kpai's film you see why Nebraska loves him. He can rush the passer, cover tight ends & receivers, deliver hard hits & fill gaps. He can play either OLB or ILB in our scheme.
Randolph committed to Nebraska fairly quickly in the recruiting process. Iowa & Minnesota tried to make early bids but it was of no use as Randolph actually grew up a Nebraska fan.
Akelo's Analysis:
The talent & potential is dripping everywhere with Randolph, but he badly needs the weight room. He won't see any early playing time at 185 pounds. Once Duval works his magic, he will be a factor for us.
Welcome to Nebraska, Randolph! GBR!
