Buford High DB Malik Williams has faxed his LOI in, making him officially part of the Husker family.
Credit this commitment to tight ends coach Sean Beckton. He does heavy lifting in the state of Georgia & Malik is a fruit of his labor. I’m sure his teammate Ervin also played a huge part in his procurement.
According to Rivals, Malik is a 5.6 3 star & the 80th best player in Georgia, while according to 247 Composite he is a .8326 3 syar and the 122nd best player in Georgia. He chose Nebraska amidst offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Florida, Florida International, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, Syracuse & UCF.
Akelo's Analysis:
Malik is exactly the kind of DB Travis Fisher loves. He is gritty, tough and coachable. Under the tutelage of T-Fish and Almighty Chins, he will be an excellent Blackshirt for us one day.
Welcome to Nebraska, Malik! GBR!
