Our last, but certainly not least, player profile for the upcoming season is walk-on Chris McGraw. The communications major out of Columbus, Ohio previously played at the college level for Ohio University and Otterbein University before finding his way to Lincoln.
McGraw was a member last season of the DIII Cardinals of Otterbein University just outside of Columbus in the 2019-2020 season. He did not play during the season due to injury, however. Prior to that, he committed to Ohio University and played in four games as a Bobcat his freshman year. While he missed his only shot from the court in action, he did get to enjoy wins over Wilberforce, Iona, Marshall, and Akron.
Prior to college, McGraw did a postgraduate year at Hargrave Military Academcy where he played with now Nebraska teammate Trey McGowens. The Tigers went on to a No. 4 ranking nationally while posting a 33-4 mark. During his high school career, McGraw played at Bishop Watterson and averaged 7.8 points per game as a senior.
McGraw should be a valuable addition to the team as a hard worker on the court in practices and provide needed depth in the backcourt, especially during a pandemic ravaged season that prevents student managers from assisting in practices.
