You feel that? It’s an itch. We’re all starting to get it. And we’re 12 days away from being able to scratch it.

There might not be a lot we agree on. By “we” I mean the three of us on the Cobcast, but also just everyone. Everyone on this damn planet. But I think we could all agree that we need something good right now. Something to pick us all up and celebrate in unison. Hell, I think we could all use the opportunity to angrily throw a beer can at the TV as we try to throw another ill-fated swing pass. But celebration in unison would arguably be better.

So Husker football is knocking at the door. In whatever form we end up watching it, let’s embrace it and enjoy it for as long as we have it because who knows these days? And if there’s one thing this year has taught us, it’s that you really don’t know what you’ve got until Kevin Warren tells you that you can’t have it anymore.
