Nebraska assistant coach Jovan Dewitt has left and joined Mack Brown’s staff at North Carolina.
Dewtt was the outside linebackers and special teams coach.
Dewitt suffered from throat cancer, an ailment that took him through several treatments of chemotheraphy and the loss of 102 pounds.
Join us in welcoming our new special teams coordinator and outside linebackers coach Jovan Dewitt (@Coach_Dewitt)!

Nebraska’s special teams were close to a disaster this season. The defense was... not very good. Someone had to go, right?
We wish Jovan Dewitt a healthy future and a good career at UNC, even though that Mack Brown was that SOB who kept calling for an extra second in the 2009 Big 12 championship, got it, won the game, and will be forever hated.
