ESPN College GameDay Returns to Lincoln for Ohio State and Nebraska on September 28

Well, this should be fun.

NCAA Football: Michigan at Ohio State Greg Bartram-USA TODAY Sports

ESPN announced that College GameDay will be live from Lincoln next Saturday as the Huskers host the Ohio State Buckeyes in a prime time affair. Nebraska looks to derail the playoff hopes of Ohio State after surviving a tough Big Ten road opener at Illinois

This marks the first time that ESPN has been in Lincoln since a 49-31 USC victory over the Huskers back in 2007. USC rushed all over the Huskers, and their quarterback’s name was John David Booty.

Nebraska will look to hand the Buckeyes their patented loss to a team that they have no business losing to, but get blown out to anyways. Ohio State was routed by Purdue in 2018 and by Iowa in 2017 in road games. Scott Frost will try and follow the Jeff Brohm footprint, and throw everything he can at first year coach Ryan Day.

College GameDay has not yet shared specifics on where the show will broadcast from. Information is expected later this week.
