Huskers in the NFL: Week One Recap

The NFL is here for another disappointing season!

The NFL season kicked off on Thursday with an extremely boring game. On top of that, there was only one former Husker playing in this game. Then on Sunday most of the other teams played, and even though my Chiefs looked good I’m not looking forward to playing Rex Burkhead and the Patriots.

I’m sure most people know the situation with Antonio Brown going to the Patriots, so I’ll spare you the curiosity of who wins the Super Bowl. Patriots will probably get some Tom Brady luck and find their way to Miami in February. The season’s canceled, but former Huskers will still be playing and it’s my job to inform you about them.

I’ll be writing this series a little bit different than last year. I want to make sure that I include every former Husker in this. I may not have specific stats for each player, but I’ll highlight how their team does that week.

The Vikings beat the Falcons 28-12.

Ameer Abdullah RB: 2 carries for 8 yards.
