Friday Flakes: Frost Did Not Put Nebraska In His Top 25

Amen I say to you! Amen!

For those who haven’t noticed, I have spent way too much time complaining about the national expectations for this upcoming season. It bothers me more than it should.

So as I sat at Scott Frost’s press conference yesterday afternoon there was a question about the USA Today’s coaching poll that was released yesterday morning. This was his response:

Yes! I wanted to give a one-person standing ovation but I they started publishing video of the reporters and if I would have done that then my employment here at Corn Nation might have been over.

Still, I love the fact that he didn’t put Nebraska in his top 25.

They wouldn’t be in my top 25 either. Got to go earn it now.
